Clogged gutters can lead to extensive roof, ceiling and wall damage
Gutters are key to the integrity of your home. They are part of the water control system that keeps water from potentially damaging your roof, interior ceilings and walls and foundation. Gutters should be cleaned at least once per year to remove leaves and other debris. This is most often done after the majority of leaves have fallen to make sure that gutters are clear before the freezing and melting of winter ice and snow.
Can’t I clean gutters myself?
You may be tempted to do the work of cleaning gutters yourself but it can be dangerous. According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, every year 500,000 people are treated for ladder-related injuries and approximately 300 of these incidents prove to be fatal.
In addition to allowing you to keep your feet on the ground, when cleaning your gutters, A Parker Contracting will remove all the debris from the roof, gutter and downspouts and check and repair any loose gutter spikes. We will also do a visual roof inspection and advise you of any concerns. All this for $99 for a standard roof of a 2,000-square foot home until October 31, 2017.
