When we bought our first home in a very small town, we had a neighbor named Daryl. He watched us work on the house as we fixed it up. I mean, literally sat in a chair on his lawn and watched us!

And, as a form of encouragement would often say, " Well, David, I do believe y'er gaining on it!"

I always say that to myself now as we move through projects.

Anyway, we are gaining on this one.

The guys were hard at it today! Spread out across SE Nebraska and NE Kansas.

We are lucky to work with some of the best subcontractors in the area.

We have been busy the last few weeks! Onyx showers, gable decorations, drywall and cabinet deliveries, siding, and framing.

Finished trimming out the Beattie, Ks house. It is now all ready for paint, flooring, and a little bit of finish electric and plumbing. It looks great!

That is a wrap on the framing for this Gladstone, Ks shouse.

We will leave it for the plumbers, electricians, HVAC, and drywallers. We will be back to trim it out after that!

Another solid week of framing. Finished the shop portion of the shouse in Beattie, KS.

Set the trusses and sheeted 75% of the strawbale house in Rockford. NE.

Just stapled down the last piece of roof felt before it rains!
