Not all estimates are created equally!!
Before moving back to Beattie, I spent the last two years working as a project estimator for the same large company where I had been employed for eight years. In this position, I met with both residential and commercial customers onsite to evaluate their plumbing needs, often reviewing blueprints as part of the process. From Elementary school roof drain projects, New Sonics, or Starbucks, to replacing all the water and drain lines in an old 3 story old farm house. I would then use my knowledge of plumbing and onsite experience to compile material and labor costs and document them in a detailed written estimate, which became a work authorization contracts once clients chose to move forward.
An estimate is just as important as the work being done. It gives the customer piece of mind as to what they are purchasing. It holds the contractor responsible for the tasks they are charging for as well as payment terms from the customer to the contractor.
I enjoy creating estimates, full of details that explain the entire process of the project. If you are wanting to tackle a project and want a professional estimate that is accompanied by professional service. Then give us a call today!
This is an example of a detailed ground work project I did for a customer here in Beattie before the snow fell.
