We hope everyone is doing well after Hurricane Mathew came to visit. Most of Mother Earth employees are back at work today. Today we will be visiting our properties to determine the extent of clean ups and debris removal and which areas we have access to. Some areas such as Fripp, Harbor and Cat Island are still off limits to crews. Please bare with us as we are trying to get to everyone as quickly as possible. Our crews will more than likely begin servicing properties tomorrow. Please understand, it will take quite a bit longer at each property than usual. If you have any questions or concerns, please call Angela at the office and she will return your phone call as quickly as she can. Thank you for your patience.

How to care for your poinsettia this season.

Poinsettias are native to Mexico and Central America. Poinsettias like lots of bright, indirect light and prefer humid conditions. Misting your poinsettia will help imitate humid conditions. Water after the soil is dry to the touch. Poinsettias are sensitive to extreme temperature, so don’t place your plant near a heater, drafty window or door. Poinsettias like daytime temperatures around 65 and nighttime around 60.
