Water Under Your Home? Don’t Forget About Ventilation!
Just because your home sits on a chain wall doesn’t mean the area underneath it should be sealed up tight. Proper ventilation is still extremely important.
This photo is from a slurry pumping job we completed underneath a log cabin that had no ventilation through the chain wall. Before we could properly address the conditions underneath the home, we had to create openings in the chain wall to allow for adequate airflow and ventilation.
When moisture and standing water get trapped underneath a home with nowhere to dry out, it can create bigger problems over time.
🏠 If you have standing water, excessive moisture, or you're concerned about what's happening underneath your foundation, give Direct Force Soil Pumping & Construction a call.
And yes—we are available on Labor Day if that is the only day you have available for us to come look at your home; just let us know when you call. We’ll work with your schedule.
