🔥From Failing Stain to a Fresh Custom Finish 🔥

This project needed more than a simple recoat. The existing stained concrete had begun to fail, so we took it all the way back and rebuilt the finish the right way.

We started by diamond grinding the concrete with aggressive 16/20-grit diamonds to completely remove the old failing stain and sealer. Once we reached clean, sound concrete, we stepped the surface up to 60/80-grit diamonds to refine the profile and properly prepare it for the new decorative finish.

We then re-cut every decorative score line, restoring the definition and detail of the original design before installing a completely fresh stained concrete system.

To finish it off, we incorporated dark decorative borders around the scored sections. That extra contrast really helps frame the design and makes the variations in the stain POP.

A quality decorative concrete restoration is all about the preparation. When an existing finish is failing, covering it up isn't the answer — remove it, properly prepare the concrete, and build it back correctly.
