Ok with a lot and I mean a lot of work 2 near heat exhaustion episodes and a little help from Cassey my loving daughter we got the roof patched where the rot was and a new PVC streamed membrane glued back down on the 27’ Fifth wheel Cougar RV We saved Over 6000 doing it ourselves and extended the life of the RV another 8 to 10 years!!! As my grandfather always said “ never pay for anything you can do yourself “ He was a true homesteader and cowboy . My loving wife Cyinta Kirk was out there ever inch of this project as well!! She is truly one tuff angel!

Good Sunday Morning!
I’m having coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet! It should start getting dry enough to do some mowing this week as well as I am hopefully entering the downhill stretch of this roofing replacement on the RV! When done I should have my fifth wheeler with a 10 -15 year, xtreme duty pvc roof ready for a new trip to CO. next Summer! Yeah

Making use of the wet weather on Monday! Began the task of repairing and putting a new roof membrane on our 2006 27’6” fifth wheel travel trailer.!

Took a drive around town and down to Sabine Pass, all and all looks like Southeast, Texas faired pretty good, lots of tree limbs and a few trees down, some damage to the covered walkway at Vincent Middle School, but other than that all good! Thank You Lord for sparing our area catastrophic damages to our family freinds and customers.
