On Friday we had the opportunity to show our appreciation for the incredible field employees and other team members who helped bring our Bunge project in Destrehan, Louisiana to life over the past 2.5 years.
When this project began in 2024, there was only water. Since then, our team has invested a tremendous amount of man hours transforming that foundation into something extraordinary. From the ground up, Bo-Mac had played a major role in constructing a new continuous barge unloader (CBU) and supporting dock that will serve as a critical part of Bunge’s operations.
While there is still work ahead, the finish line is clearly in sight. This project is a true showcase of what our company is capable of, and one we’ll be talking about for years to come.
Thank you to Bunge and Continental Construction for trusting us as the marine contractors on this facility expansion. And most importantly, thank you to our hardworking, dedicated employees who continue to impress us everyday by working safely, delivering quality, and proving that Bo-Mac is the right choice for complex marine construction challenges.
From our heaviest lift, a 712,000 lb. dock jacket structure, to the finishing touches of sheet metal siding, this project reflects the full depth and versatility of our capabilities.
