Winter reset.

K-plowing will start moving snow later this evening. Goal is to have everything clear for the Easter Bunny in the early morning hours.

Oh Technology.

Got a new phone, and somehow while transferring from the old one and syncing everything the email for K-plowing got muffed up and locked out. Turns out Microsoft is a MASSIVE PITA to try to recover once it locks you out.

If you’ve recently sent an email within the last 2 days to the old address, I will not be able to receive it. All invoices from now on will be sent from the new address.

Here she comes!

This may very well be a repeat of the Feb 18th storm with combined lake effect and high winds.

If conditions deteriorate to that level, expect delays in service and changes in rates from the standard flat rate to hourly based.

K-plowing will be getting to each scheduled account as quickly and safely as possible. All last minute calls will likely be pushed back 24-48 hours.

There will also be smaller snow events happening Saturday night - Sunday adding another 2-4” on top of it.

After the great warm weekend we had, winter comes roaring back!! Forecast is predicting up to 12” totals so far through Friday.

K-plowing and its equipment got a nice break. Looks like it’ll be time to get back at it!

As always commercial lots for public use will take priority. This time of year if you can help it, gravel driveways/roads are ill advised for plowing. We are now in the part of the season where freeze thaw cycles occur almost every day/night.

If your driveway is questionable weather to be cleared or just letting it melt the next day. I will contact those clients to confirm plowing before traveling to that specific site.

PSA: Highway 61 is dicey, but the worst stretch of it, between Silver Bay and Two Harbors is from the Gooseberry bridge through the 4 lane section both sides.

If you put the hammer down to pass, you may go for an unexpected offroad adventure.
