ANNOUNCING THE 2026 RANCH CONVERSATION
The 2026 Beaver Ranch Conversations will update producers and community leaders about changes to state and federal programs; to make known new funding opportunities and report on 2025 activity. This event is designed to fill the need for face-to-face communication with farmers, ranchers, and community leaders. There is no charge to attend the Conversation and lunch will be provided.
The Ranch Conversation will feature speakers from USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, USDA-Farm Service Agency, USDA-Agricultural Research Service, Oklahoma Conservation Commission, US Fish & Wildlife Service, and the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Department. USDA-Rural Development will present information about programs that are available to help communities grow and improve. Zac Stuckey, Publisher of the High Plains Journal will Emcee the Conversation.
Agricultural producers and community leaders from neighboring counties and states are also encouraged to attend. For those planning to attend the lunch, please RSVP by phone to: (580) 625-3302 Ext 101 or e-mail to [email protected] by 5:00 pm on January 10, 2026.

The former Beaver Woodworks crew members continue to accomplish great things. I am a very proud former boss (Dad).

Since launching the Coyote Rock Ranch Scholarships Program in 2016, 36 American Association of Equine Practitioners student members from 17 schools have received more than $2.7 million in support for their careers in equine care. This commitment to improving the welfare of the horse is made possible by Coyote Rock Ranch founder Penelope Knight and continued by ranch owners Sue and Eric Hagerty.

Congratulations to this year's recipients who have each earned a $75,000 scholarship:

The former Beaver Woodworks crew members continue to excel. This one has completed 3 years of Vet School and received her white coat. She will have one more year of clinical studies and then she'll be a full-fledged DVM.

The Beaver Woodworks security cameras caught an interesting picture. That's either a Sasquatch, a brown bear, a maybe a llama butt. My best guess is Sasquatch.

I just installed new countertops, backsplash, sink, and faucet to spruce up a farmhouse kitchen. The customer chose the same Formica as the Beaver Woodworks secretary did for her new kitchen.
