Since my last post went so well asking for prayers one more time I was told by rental company that the machine I rented had the Forestry windshield in it which means it does not break it's basically bulletproof when I lifted the head to see if it was still spinning so I could load on trailer it had a small stick still hanging in the forestry head shot back at glass and it exploded in my face and I got a glass bath including glass in my eye I had to remove myself. I quickly grabbed a bottle of water that I had in the truck and dumped it in my eye to flush it out and then immediately rushed to CVS to grab some more eye solution and flushed my eye out there mostly concerned about my eye wondering if I was going to go blind or not I had glass all over me and in my shoes walking and cutting my feet not even paying attention to that because I was so worried about my eye. Went to doctor let them flush it out also and put special dye in it so they could look at it and see if there was any more glass have another doctor's visit tomorrow with the specialist so they can look deeper into my eye my eye is permanently damaged with a hole in it from glass my vision is worse hoping that gets better when the swelling goes away luckily it didn't hit in the color or the black part of the eye that's what makes you go blind still not knowing if I have any fragments remaining that can cause infection and muscle damage tomorrow is as early as they could get me in for further examination. This is the third time this rental company has sent this machine out with the improper glass the first two times I was able to close my eyes fast enough this time I wasn't .Spoke with them previously two times when it happened they insured me they would not send that machine out like that again being that it exploded on me twice before from that rental company I made absolutely sure that it had the proper glass in it and was confirmed by three people that it was the same one they run their Forester machine on and the glass was for Forestry mulching, well the glass was either switched out without their knowledge or they just sent it out not caring about the people who run the machine and just trying to make a dollar it is literally probably $30 to $100 difference at the most in the two glasses there is no need for them to send it out with glass in it and not the Forestry protective glass that does not break now I have permanent eye damage and in pain of course imagine a whole bunch of glass in your eye you would walk on glass in your shoes too and not even care or not even realize because your main concerned would be to get your eye clean. First two times I let it slide but spoke with the owners of company and they assured me it would not happen again it just happened for the third time and I'm injured need your prayers once again I'm not happy at all made a report to the company today was told they would reach out to me no one did one of the last guys I spoke with to confirm it had the unbreakable glass in and he said yes now he's saying he did not say that to protect his job and was an inconsiderate @$$ (had to take a deep breath and not hurt him but that's not me and what I'm here for lucky for him twice my size but would not of mattered your lucky day buddy I'm sure your reading God blessed you I'm a patient man )he's just trying to save his job,now he's also saying they don't have any machine with the unbreakable glass but I'm sure he will change that story also when it's convenient to do so . You should never do forestry mulching without the unbreakable glass never!!!, and they should be ashamed to send that machine out knowing it's going to be used for forestry mulching with that glass in it and tell me it had proper class in it.
