A fence isn't truly finished until it's protected.
We just wrapped up another fence staining and sealing project, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. More importantly, so is our customer!
One of the biggest misconceptions we see is that a brand-new fence can be installed and left alone. In reality, staining and sealing is one of the most important steps in protecting your investment.
Without protection, the Oregon weather starts taking its toll almost immediately. UV exposure, rain, and moisture can cause wood to gray, crack, warp, and eventually rot long before it should. A quality stain and sealer helps preserve the natural beauty of the wood while extending the life of your fence for years to come.
The good news is that not every older fence needs to be replaced. Many fences simply need a professional wash, prep, and a fresh coat of stain and sealer to bring them back to life. If the structure is still sound, restoration is often a much more cost-effective option than starting over.

Got another beautiful kitchen all installed and ready for its final finishes 🔥

I have to admit, I am really loving the two tone cabinet trend lately. There’s just something special about combining two complementary cabinet colors that adds so much depth, warmth, and personality to a kitchen without feeling overwhelming. It gives the space a much more custom and intentional feel.

Another feature that really made this project stand out was the incredible waterfall edge island slab 👌 It completely elevated the kitchen and tied everything together with such a clean high end look.

Projects like this are always satisfying because kitchens truly are the heart of the home. Seeing a space come together from the construction phase into a beautiful functional living space never gets old.

Excited to see this one fully completed and can’t wait to tackle another kitchen project soon 💪

Another beautiful white oak project wrapped up 🔥

We recently had the opportunity to install some stunning quarter sawn wide plank white oak hardwoods in a few rooms of an absolutely gorgeous West Linn home with incredible river views and an amazing property surrounding it.

Two of the rooms previously had older carpet that was holding onto years of hair, odors, and wear and honestly just did not flow with the quality and character of the rest of the home. Replacing it with hardwood completely transformed the feel of the space and helped bring continuity back throughout the house.

For this installation, the flooring needed to remain exceptionally stable and secure, so we went with a nail and glue combination install method for maximum performance and long term durability. The final result turned out incredibly clean, sharp, and timeless 👌

We also had the opportunity to create a large custom mantel beam for the home’s fireplace. It was built from a solid 6x8 Douglas Fir beam and hand distressed to give it a rich, aged character that fit the home beautifully. Custom touches like that are always some of our favorite parts of a project because they bring so much warmth and personality into a space.

Projects like this are a great reminder of how much the right materials, craftsmanship, and attention to detail can elevate an entire home.

As a continuation of this incredible white oak project, we also had the opportunity to completely trim out all of the doors and windows throughout the space 🔥

This part of the project took a lot of time, patience, and custom on site milling to get everything flowing together correctly with the new flooring and wood accent wall. Matching profiles, proportions, and overall character is never something we rush, especially when the goal is to create a finished product that feels intentional and timeless.

We also had the chance to get this fireplace wall fully tiled and prepped for a custom made white oak mantel beam, which is going to tie everything together beautifully 👌

The final result turned out absolutely amazing and completely elevated the warmth and craftsmanship of the home.

Projects like this are a great reminder that the small details are often what make the biggest difference.

This white oak herringbone hardwood floor turned out BEAUTIFUL 🔥

This was such a fun project, but I’ll be honest, it definitely challenged us in ways we did not originally expect. Normally with hardwood flooring you’re working with 2 tongue sides and 2 groove sides. However, the material ordered for this project ended up being manufactured with only 1 tongue side and 3 groove sides. Neither us nor the homeowner realized it until installation began.

To make matters even more interesting, it used an uncommon tongue and groove size, which meant we had to custom manufacture a TON of different spline pieces on site just to make the pattern work correctly. It took much longer than anticipated, but this is exactly where craftsmanship, patience, and problem solving matter most.

At the end of the day, we refused to cut corners and the final product speaks for itself 👌 The warmth, pattern, and character this floor adds to the home is incredible.

Projects like this are a great reminder that quality work takes time, especially when custom solutions are needed.

Yesterday we shared some of the interior craftsmanship details from this addition and remodel project. Today we wanted to show off some of the exterior progress 🔥

Matching an older home correctly takes time, patience, and attention to detail. Getting the siding, trim profiles, proportions, and overall feel to flow together naturally is what separates a true addition from something that looks obviously “added on.”

We’re really proud of how this project is coming together and excited to keep pushing toward the finish line. Projects like this are a reminder that quality craftsmanship is still alive and well 💪

One of the coolest parts of remodeling is when you get the opportunity to blend new construction with old school craftsmanship. 🔨

We’ve been hard at work on a brand new addition and interior remodel, and one of my favorite details from this project was recreating custom millwork profiles that you simply can’t find off the shelf anymore. These window sills were BEASTS. We used beefy 1& 5/8" primed sill stock and custom milled the old school bullnose profile to properly match the original character of the home.

This is the kind of work we genuinely love doing. Not just making something “new,” but making it feel like it truly belongs there while still improving the overall quality and durability of the home.

Lots more progress to share soon. The exterior matching work is coming together beautifully too 👀🔥

We were so happy to continue this amazing build and bring even more character and warmth into this home. 🔥

Let me tell you, projects like this are not easy and true quality craftsmanship takes time. It is not something that should ever be rushed. Every detail matters, especially when you’re working with custom finish work designed to completely transform a space.

This custom wood accent wall came out absolutely incredible and pairs perfectly with the quarter sawn white oak staircase. Together they completely changed the feel of the home and created a clean, warm, high end look that still feels timeless and inviting.

Projects like this are exactly why we love what we do and we’re looking forward to creating more custom spaces like this in the future. 💪🔨
