September's Focus: The Right Plant in the Right Place.
A depth of knowledge about where and why plants thrive allows me to design a complete range of landscapes, from luxuriant perennial borders, cool shade gardens and orchards to bountiful vegetable gardens, and naturalized woodlands, wetlands, and meadows.
Gardens are statements of visual form and structure within a landscape. Their bones are meant to carry the eye with a continuous rhythm of color, scale, texture and contrast. Their function as a screen, focal point, destination, or even a distraction is achieved through well-considered, strategic plant placement in an overall landscape plan.
