We want to take a moment to thank every single person who took the time to read our story, share our fundraiser, donate, send encouraging words, or simply support Dynasty Landscaping LLC during an incredibly difficult and unexpected situation.
In just about six days, our community helped us raise $945 toward the down payment on a replacement truck for Dynasty.
As many of you know, the transmission went out on the truck that helped build Dynasty from what it was into what it is today. That truck carried our equipment, pulled our trailers, hauled materials, showed up to job after job, and had an incredible amount of sentimental value to me and my family.
Losing it was hard.
But if there is one thing we’ve always said, it’s that it is nearly impossible to hold a couple like Adrienne and me back.
We’ve been working, saving, rearranging, figuring things out, and doing everything we possibly could to get Dynasty back on track. Between our determination, a whole lot of hard work, that “just don’t quit” mentality, and the incredible support from all of you, we were able to purchase this 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. 🚛🌿
This was never about buying the newest, fanciest, or most expensive truck.
It was about getting Dynasty back on the road.
It was about having a dependable truck to pull our equipment, haul materials, get us to our clients, and allow us to continue providing for our family through the business we’ve worked so hard to build.
And with your help, we were able to do exactly that.
$945 given to our family and business by members of our community is not something we take lightly. We are incredibly grateful for every single dollar.
Our entire family is grateful.
When I pulled into the driveway with the new truck, our three girls were screaming, cheering, and so excited. I almost had tears in my eyes because in that moment I realized that they understand exactly what this means to us.
They know Dynasty isn’t just some little side business.
This is our livelihood.
This is how we provide for our family. This is how we continue building a future for our girls. This is also what allows us to give back and support our community whenever we have the opportunity.
Seeing how happy they were for us made this moment mean even more.
We also want everyone to know that the GoFundMe is now closed and donations have stopped. It was only active for approximately six days because this was something we needed to move quickly on. Donations were stopped yesterday morning, and by yesterday evening, Dynasty officially had its replacement truck.
We never imagined we would receive this level of support—especially from people we have never even met before. People who didn’t know us personally still took the time to read our story, believe in what we are building, and help our family through a difficult moment.
That means more than we could ever put into words.
