At Beams Contracting, family has always been at the heart of who we are, and we are excited to celebrate two very special additions to our extended Beams family.

Sloane Margaret Rushing arrived on April 13th, bringing joy to her proud parents, Stephen and Rebecca Rushing, and big brother, Hodge. Proud dad Stephen, who is currently working with our Fort Gordon crews, has already discovered that his most important job is being a father. Congratulations to the Rushing family on the arrival of their beautiful baby girl!

Jackson Lee Caudill arrived on May 21st and was welcomed home by his loving parents and grandparents. Jackson is the newest grandson of Darrell Caudill with Grade South, and we know he is already surrounded by a family who loves him dearly. Congratulations to the entire Caudill family on this wonderful blessing!

Please join us in congratulating both families as they begin this exciting new chapter. We wish Sloane and Jackson a lifetime filled with happiness, health, and countless memories.

On May 23rd, Beam’s Contracting was proud to host Family Day 2026 at the Augusta GreenJackets baseball game. Even though the rain tried to slow us down, it didn’t stop everyone from having a great time together.

It was good to step away from the daily grind for a little while and spend time with the people who make this company what it is — our employees and their families. Opportunities like this remind us that Beam’s is more than just a workplace; it’s a family built on hard work, support, and lasting relationships.

A special thank you to the Augusta GreenJackets for the great food, welcoming atmosphere, and family-friendly environment that helped make the evening such a success. We appreciate everyone who came out and made the night memorable.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to live, work, worship, and raise our families in this great country we call home.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to reflect with gratitude on the courage, selflessness, and love shown by those who laid down their lives for others. We will never forget the price that was paid for our freedom.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
