A “liminal” space is a powerful threshold between the wild, unknown outside world and the safety of the family inside its property lines.

A property headgate gives this space a physical presence and builds an experience of passing through its threshold with wild creativity, form, and function.

Featured is one of our Jackson Creek projects outside of Bozeman, Montana. Traditional Mortis and Tenon white oak timbers salvaged from a 1880s barn by Alex Pipkin near the thumb of Michigan. Free standing in custom powder coated timber base plates, wrapped in Montana moss rock. Custom ranch sign designed and fabricated to clients sketch.
