The experience so far has already been worth the journey; and we are only halfway through. We made some new friends, found some new products, and tested some old ones. The value that VM Zinc and have so generously added to Ever-Green,and me personally, will be immediately impactful and immeasurably beneficial for years to come. The Alpine advancements to our system will also be appreciated by the clients we are fortunate enough to share with on our upcoming projects, and the fellow workers in our trade that are interested in upgrading their skills as well. Now we are moving onwards towards our next highlight in Cologne, Germany for the Dach & Holtz trade show, with some fun stops along the way.

Even with some of the most impressive machines in the business, a large part of the company’s success is still dependent on the capable hands of its long term employees. From the measurement and drawing process all the way to packaging. It’s been incredible to witness.

Day 1 of training was next level. 👏

180 years of history, world-class products, and incredible craftsmanship all under one roof. The deep dive into zinc pigmentation and the ornament division tour were serious highlights. 🤯

Excited to bring this knowledge back home and put it to work in our community.

Montana ➝ Europe ✈️🇪🇺

Beginning a focused education trip to elevate our craft in architectural metal roofing and high-performance building envelope systems. I’m very grateful to start it alongside one of the true craftsmen and leaders in our industry.

We’ll be getting hands-on zinc training in France, including European design techniques for what alpine conditions demand from materials and detailing. Then to Dach+Holz to deepen our building envelope perspective and see some of the most innovative ideas and practices in the roofing industry.

Thankful to John for the invitation and the opportunity yet again.
