Fun Fact Friday!
Many of us utilize Hostas for their ability to thrive in shaded areas where other plants cannot.
But did you know that they are also edible?
Our hostas are finally emerging from the ground, sending up spiraled shoots. These shoots tastes like asparagus and are commonly used in salads and stir fry dishes
As the plant matures and the foliage spreads, you can treat its leaves as any other leafy green. Toss them in a salad or throw them on a sandwich.
However you prefer your vegetables, never overlook what you already have growing in your landscape🌱
