This is something I don’t do that often, railroad tie walls. So I tore out the first course of old ties then I removed all of the over grown vegetation, then removed the rest of the old ties. Then built it back up with new ties, threw some fabric and a little bit of black edging topped off with some river rock. The customer is very pleased, as well am I.

I just finished up the revamping this flower bed and added onto it so it wrapped all the way around the house. Everything went well I think she will like it better than what she had. I pulled up all the rock and thin fabric, reset all the edgers then layed good fabric and then put some river rock.

With this job the customer had some dead spots in the yard we had to take care of. So I started by sod cutting all the spots we talked about then I put the bed edger to work. After I removed all the waist I laid down black edging and topped it off with dark brown mulch. It went pretty quick and turned out great!

Well I’ve been busy and I keep forgetting to post but the yards have slowed down and I did a few grading jobs that I didn’t post. But here we go this was just a mess of a yard that I got all cleaned up and looking good for the home owner so I started by removing all the over grown plants, did some black plastic edging then fabric went down planted 5 blue chip junipers and topped off with some river rock, I think it turned out great!

Well I’m not sure how much more the weather will allow me to continue. I finished this job up yesterday, it was just a little rebuild. I built it back up to where it was supposed to be and we extended it I believe around 3 feet longer. At least I was able to tear it down and get some base rock set before the little bit of rain made it a it pretty miserable. Overall the job went well.

Well I tamed this wild yard this week. I started by removing all the overgrown shrubs, then brought the skid in and scraped all the rock and overgrown grass up then I could lay out where the wall edgers were going to be. Overall the job went really smooth, no issues. I’m pretty pleased with the way it turned out, the homeowner likes it better too 😉

Well I did it again, no before pics. So it was a single layer wall that was just loose block just sitting on top of the soil. I dug it out put in a good rock base and then half way through first layer the home owner decided to add another course, which in my opinion was the right thing do so I added that and finished it up on Friday.

I got this job all wrapped on Saturday morning. This is a kings wall edger job, the homeowne will finish it off with more dirt. I’ve always been a bullet guy for edgers, just for the convenience, but I do like the look of the raised edgers.
