My family and I are reaching out to you in a time of need. We have been proud members of the community for our entire lives, contributing through our family-owned lawncare business, Lawn & Order Landscape, LLC, for over a decade. Our dream was to have our home and shop all in one location - a place where we could raise our children while serving our neighbors.
We purchased land with this vision in mind. As the property is zoned for agriculture, it allowed for our lawncare company to be on premises. However, due to a complaint about employee parking on-site (which none work on site, they park and leave), we find ourselves needing to obtain a special use permit.
Our business has been an integral part of this community for over 10 years now, serving more than 300 customers locally, along with being BBB accredited. We've not only provided quality service but also created jobs and contributed economically to Troy and surrounding areas. Yet now, without this permit, we face an uncertain future.
We believe that granting us this special use permit aligns with the spirit of agricultural zoning - supporting businesses that contribute positively to both the economy and character of rural communities like ours.
