How is it possible that the kids are heading back to school already?

And apparently, we’re not alone. Gen X homeowners currently account for 34% of remodeling spending, according to the Home Improvement Research Institute.

After living in their Sammamish home for more than 30 years, these homeowners were ready to remodel. Some remodeling projects begin with a dream. Others begin with a disaster.

This Kirkland home fell into the second category after an attic fire in November 2024. While the flames were contained, water and smoke damage ultimately left the home uninhabitable, requiring a full gut down to the studs.

For our team, the rebuild was a labor of love. We really wanted to remove obstacles for the family, manage every detail, and create a positive experience during an extraordinarily difficult chapter.

Any remodel is complicated, but with insurance coordination and budget constraints, every step required problem-solving and partnership. We’re especially grateful to our subcontractor teams who helped carry the project forward with care and commitment. You’re the best!

Demo Day is here!

We’ve officially kicked off this remodel in Sammamish and things are moving fast. Out with the old so we can make way for something beautiful, functional, and built to last.

Not every project is a major remodel. Sometimes homeowners just want a beautiful upgrade, without dealing with the logistics.

For these long-time Lakeville clients in Medina, the goal was simple: replace their darker espresso floors with something lighter and more timeless.

We handled everything from start to finish, including demo, dump runs, coordinating movers, flooring installers, and painters.

The result: 7.5" wide plank European Oak engineered flooring that completely transforms the first floor.
