Happy Anniversary, Will! 👏

Over the past ten years, one of the things Will has appreciated most about working at Pearson is the people. From coworkers to clients, the relationships he’s built along the way have become one of the most rewarding parts of his career. 

As he reflects on the past decade, Will is especially grateful for the opportunity Andy Macelroy gave him when he joined Pearson as a 22-year-old. Looking back, it’s a chance he considers one of the best things that ever happened to him.

Every project comes with its own set of challenges, and our process is built to handle them.

For this project, the goal was to preserve as much of the original barn siding as possible. But due to its age, only about half could be reinstalled.

So our in-house wood shop got to work. 💪

Using new lumber, the team carefully distressed each board to replicate the character of the original wood, then went through multiple rounds of color testing to get the closest possible match before it was installed alongside the existing siding. Though it all, the client was part of the process, reviewing samples and helping guide the final look.

We love a good challenge, and even more, we love bringing the client along for the process!

The Kingworks Engineering office renovation is officially complete! 🛠️

This 1,800 sq. ft. office was transformed into a refreshed, modern workspace designed for collaboration, creativity, and functionality.

The project included:
🔹 A newly added bathroom
🔹 A dedicated private office for video meetings
🔹 An upgraded conference room
🔹 New flush mount linear LED lighting
🔹 Fresh carpet and paint throughout

To preserve the original character of the space, we repurposed the existing wood trim and relit the windows to maintain the office's classic warmth while giving it a clean, updated feel.

We’re grateful to have partnered with Kingworks Engineering and proud to have created a space that supports the incredible work their team does every day!

It's been fun watching this corner of the waterfront continue to grow. ⚓🛠️

Our team has had the opportunity to help bring multiple spaces along the pier to life, including Neeterhouseofluxury, , Beach Cat Brewing: South Paw , and now the future home of .

We're grateful to play a small part in shaping spaces that help define this corner of Bellingham.
