Another whole house remodel getting started with demo in this beautiful spring weather!

Not only is this an opportunity to improve the comfort , health and energy efficiency of a 100 year old building but also a chance to clean the building of built up dirt and debris, as well as straighten out any sagging that happened over time.
This house had a 2" lean to the north. Contractor was able to pull the wall back to square and will be resheeting the house with CDX to hold the shape.

Some sites are more difficult than others.

This renovation and ADU addition is on a very steep slope on South Hill. The existing house had a huge deck to take advantage of the 180 degree views over Bellingham Bay. This deck has been removed and will be replaced.

But the first order of business is to install access to be able to excavate for foundations.

Great team on this project to make the difficult build a success.
