Steel is flying at the new SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) hospital in Haines, Alaska!
After breaking ground and beginning foundation pours in August, our crews are reaching an exciting milestone as structural steel and metal decking go up on the approximately 60,000-square-foot facility.
Currently, SEARHC's healthcare services in Haines are spread across multiple locations. This new facility will bring those services together under one roof, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and physical therapy, while adding a 24-hour emergency department, critical access hospital, and long-term care.
For the Haines community, that means greater access to essential healthcare services, around-the-clock emergency care, and the opportunity to receive long-term care close to home. We can't wait to share updates as this important project progresses!
