This was a fun project for a client who was willing to trust my vision. She recently inherited a reproduction corner cabinet. However, the movers dinged it up and broke one of the trim pieces off during transport. She didn't like the red color, as it didn't match the rest of her furnishings and her "Cape Cod beach-house" vibe. As we discussed the look she had in mind, I offered to dust off my old scenic artist skills and push the envelope on a more theatrical ageing rather than mere faux antiqueing. She was game. The end product came out quite dramatic and our client was very pleased. It's fun to work with people who have a sense of adventure and have faith we can create just what they envisioned.

Something new, (for us). We designed and built/installed two fountains for Seattle clients.
We made the form, poured the concrete and then stained it; fabricated the trough and the steel valance on top that also lights the wall.
The multi-level pond was constructed from cinderblock base and the "stones" are faux rocks from a brand called Eldorado Stone.
Another example of the one-of-a-kind projects that we specialize in.

This is the most rewarding part of the job. Three weeks of sanding, sanding, scraping, heat-gunning and more sanding... Then the paste filler/stain combo is brushed on and Wham! Beautiful wood appears once again.
Old wooden boats are the BEST!
