Hey FB friends. So i had posted a couple months ago about , you never know who your neighbors used to be. So I found out my old neighbors in NYC like 3 doors down was Andy Warhol, and next to that was where Jean-Michel Basquiat Lived , But worked and sadly passed away at. So walking by there last week I noticed a door was open and a gentleman was standing outside. The man ended up being the owner of a high end boutique there now. Thankfully they kept the facade of the building the same, and to my EXCITEMENT, he told me inside they found 3 of the walls were all original graffiti done by Basquiat himself..i was like Wow 😲!!.So I ask the gentleman if i could go in an see and he said of course..so these are the pictures I took and I feel so lucky to have experienced that, by in my opinion one of the most important artists of this past century.
