Our interns packed a lot of experience into a few short months!

From design and documentation to equipment circuiting, checkout, power-on, installation, and commissioning, they experienced the full project lifecycle alongside our talented mentors.

Project Update!

Since September 2024, the Morse Electric team has been hard at work modernizing the primary electrical infrastructure at Harry Reid International Airport.

This critical project will provide the resilient, high-capacity electrical backbone needed to support the airport’s next generation of infrastructure and operations.

We’re proud to share that the project is now 80% complete, with major milestones already achieved:

• 12,000-volt utility yard fully installed and tested
• Underground duct banks and medium-voltage cables installed
• Construction of both replacement substations complete
• Two new NV Energy feeder connections and redundant radial loop infrastructure underway

Our team is now focused on final finishes, including new security systems, cameras, fire alarm systems, HVAC units, and lighting.

With completion on track for December 2026, we’re proud of the progress our team has made and the role Morse Electric is playing in building reliable infrastructure for the future of Harry Reid International Airport.

Congratulations to the 2026 Rock Internship Graduates - Especially our Engineering Intern Roberto! He has a great career ahead of him and we wish him the best of luck in the future!

Shout out to our very first Rock Intern, Nathan, who was asked to be a guest speaker at this year’s ceremony. He spoke of the impact the Rock Internship Program had on discovering his passion for engineering, opening the door for his ongoing internship with The Morse Group, and providing direction for his career goals.

His advice to this year’s graduates: “take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Ask questions, be willing to learn, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself. The experience you gain now can open doors you never expected.”

We recently welcomed Savana, Graham, and MaKayla to Automation Solutions of America for an engineering job shadow.

They spent the morning learning about the different types of projects we work on, exploring different engineering disciplines and seeing how they interact with one another, and touring our in-house machine building and panel shops.

Experiences like these help students connect classroom learning with real-world careers while showcasing the many opportunities available in engineering and advanced manufacturing.

A special thank you to our engineering team for taking time out of their day to share their knowledge, answer questions, and provide a well-rounded introduction to the engineering profession.

The Morse Group is proud to continue supporting the Stateline Family YMCA in Beloit, WI and Rockton, IL through the Annual Community Campaign that provides aid to people in our local community through memberships for at-risk homeless youth, meals for children and direct assistance to people in need.

We’re proud to have been part of The Lincoln Academy’s journey from the very beginning, and it’s exciting to see their continued growth as they expand to serve even more students and families in our community.

Construction on the latest expansion is gaining momentum, and Morse Electric crews are hard at work installing underground conduit and completing site electrical infrastructure to help lay the foundation for the next phase of the project.
