Marshall Lawn Solutions specializes in w**d control and fertilization services for a healthy, thick, green lawn. We understand conditions in Central Texas and our treatment program is designed to prevent w**ds, treat w**ds, prevent turf pests, and encourage thick green grass. W**d control, fertilization and lawn treatment services are essential for a healthy lawn. We effectively treat w**ds and preventing them from coming back. We Offer an 8-Visit Program for Year-Round Care

Our 8-visit w**d control and fertilization program provides year-round service and targets the needs of each season. Each visit works toward the end goal of growing a thick, green, healthy lawn. In the late winter we use pre-emergent to prevent summer w**ds and a post emergent to target cool season w**ds. In spring we feed your lawn with fast acting fertilizer to assist with a quick green up, prevent lawn insects and treat w**ds. With summer comes heat and stress for a lawn, we fertilize with micronutrients, control w**ds and prevent turf pests. Fall is the time to prevent cool season w**ds, add soil amendments and fertilize for winter nutrient storage. All our packages include use of professional golf course w**d control and fertilization products. Serving Belton, Temple and Salado, Texas. 🌱W**d Of The Week🌱

✨𝗣𝗼𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮 / 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀✨

It may look like ordinary grass, but this cool season w**d is an uninvited lawn guest! Bluegrass typically sprouts as temperatures cool and produces lots of seeds, helping it spread.

🔍𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆:
✅Light green color that stands out from surrounding grass
✅Small, tufted clumps
✅Soft leaf blades with boat shaped tips
✅Small, greenish white seedheads.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸? | 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟳 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌿

Round 7 is one of the most important treatments in our program! It includes fall pre-emergent, which creates a protective barrier in the soil to help control many grassy and broadleaf w**ds before they germinate and emerge.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁?
Less w**d pressure through winter and into early spring. The preventative portion works before new w**ds become visible, while existing w**ds respond gradually to the post emergent.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼?
wait at least 24hrs before watering in the treatment
wait at least 48hrs before mowing
Minimize soil disturbances for the next few weeks (ex. aggressive raking, the dog digging for gold, etc) These activities can disrupt the protective barrier.

Same yard. A whole lot of progress🌱👏

From March to September, this lawn has filled in beautifully and has noticeably less w**d pressure. More grass, fewer uninvited guests and a transformation worth Celebrating!💚

Progress like this takes some time and consistent care. Each treatment is another step towards a thicker, healthier lawn, and we love seeing those steps add up!

🚨W**d sighting in your Bermuda lawn? Maybe not!

Bermuda seed heads often get mistaken for w**ds...😱 But they promise they're the good guys. Those little spiky tops are actually the flowering part of your grass. Common Bermuda can produce seeds from them, while many hybrid varieties grow seed heads that don't produce viable seeds.

🔍𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆:
✅Thin, wiry stems rising above the lawn.
✅A “Y,” “star,” or “chicken foot” shape with 3–5 spikes.
✅Colors range from green to purplish or tan as they mature.

Either way, there's no w**d invasion here. Your Bermuda is just showing off its flowers. 🌱😂
