A few before and afters from our big remodel project. I think it’s safe to say we’re done…I’m sure there will be some minor things over the next couple of weeks, but the homeowners are settling in and I’m 100% certain they are super stoked we are no longer in their home on the daily. 😂 They are waiting on some furniture before we can get better photos, but I’m excited to see the finished spaces! Their designer chose well on the finishes, so I’m sure it will all come together beautifully with the furnishings.

Progress over the past 7 days!

I took this first photo on October 4, 2024. We started framing in November 2024…we are almost done…done enough that movers started moving furniture back inside today. It is a completely different house now. I think everyone at one point or another probably wondered if it would’ve been easier to just bulldoze the original and start over. We built and sold multiple spec houses during the time it took us to finish this one, so that really may have been faster. 😂 We are super thankful for our clients, who were incredibly patient throughout the process. I know it wasn’t easy or ideal, but I feel like they will be able to enjoy this place for many years now. And our subs absolutely killed it this past week. They started installing the wood floors 7 days ago. We had nothing else installed…no plumbing, no lighting, no countertops, no trim….over the past two days, we literally had every single subcontractor we use in the house finishing. They were working around each other to just get it done (not without a few choice words along the way). Anyway, happy day!

“Do what you love and you’ll never work another day in your life”….or you’ll work every day of your life. 😂 Wouldn’t want to do this with anyone but you, . Seriously though, we absolutely love what we do and it never really feels like “work”. Watching the transformations and knowing we had a part in creating homes for people drives us on the daily. We look forward to the creative aspect along with the problem solving aspect of construction (and believe me, there will always be problems). We are in the final stages of our big remodel project and we can’t wait to share!

Quick little cosmetic flip for my brother and sister-in-law! They closed 12/18 and we’re hoping to have them moved in by the end of January! Drywall starts tomorrow. 🎉

Remodel progress…added active dormers, took out wall in between kitchen and living, replaced front door and old windows with new picture windows, installed industrial sized venthood . It’s going to be bright and beautiful in here!

Progress on our newest spec house in Salado! Should be finishing up in the next few weeks. We may or may not be a little obsessed with Urbane Bronze. Just used it in our personal home as well. 😂😂
