REPORTS TO: Branch Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides leadership and guidance on job sites to complete installation and removal of materials by maintaining safety, accountability, punctuality, and efficiency. Crew Leader will embrace and utilize technology, work closely with customer on site, to ensure the client’s needs and expectations are met, and protect the company’s assets. In addition, they will be required to perform walk throughs with site contacts prior to start, installation of fence materials on site, loading and unloading trucks as well as teardown and pick-up of materials on jobs sites.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following reflects the essential functions for this job.
-Provide leadership and guidance to safely complete installation and breakdown of fence material
-Perform walk throughs prior to start with customer and resolve customer issues on job site promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction and report back to Crew Manager
-Work with Crew Manager to assist in training new crew members
-Use tablet to complete work orders/review job instructions and layout
-Use tablet to properly document for missing/damaged material and create change orders
-Deliver materials to customer location in a timely, safe, and courteous manner
-Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Crew Manager/Logistics Manager/Sales Team
-Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift or by hand and securing load on truck
-Use hand and pneumatic tools to install or remove material
-Actively works to improve standards and participate in Lean projects
-Learn and understand all SONCO Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Policies
-Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety policies, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT requirements
-Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tablet
Report mileage and fuel usage on tablet
-Maintain Equipment/Tools/Inventory
-Maintain appearance of truck inside and out along with organized toolboxes
-Contribute in the yard when required
-Perform any other duties as assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-Experience leading job sites and crews preferred
-Comfortable with handheld tablets for job documentation /able to learn new programs

Technical Certifications and Skills
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
-Must have strong understanding of the rules of the road, including DOT regulations, laws and safety rules to ensure trucks are safe and in compliance at all times
-Experience with Electronic Driving Logs a plus
-Experience with Electronic Delivery programs a plus
-Ability to obtain a DOT medical card for employment
-Ability to obtain forklift certification. Company will provide training
-Ability to obtain clearance for military and secure locations
-Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 card
-May require Class A or B CDL license. If Class A is needed, experience is required

40 with overtime as required
Shift:
Varies- Monday- Friday and occasionally weekend work as required. Occasionally there could be early morning start times, off-hour jobs and overnight jobs.
