Please check your furnace filter before you call for service (this could save you the cost of a service call)
1. Is it clean -visual inspection
a. If dirty, remove the filter and install a new filter and test furnace operation
b. If it appears clean remove anyway and see step 2
2. Start your furnace. Does your furnace operate correctly when you have the filter removed?
a. If yes, install a new filter and test furnace operation
b. If no, call the shop for a service call 218-759-1220

Things to check before you call
1. Make sure your thermostat is in heating mode
2. Make sure the breaker for your furnace is turned on
3. Check/Replace your furnace filter. If your filter is wrapped in plastic remove the plastic.
4. Check your propane tank to confirm you have propane. Make sure all gas valves are turned on
5. If your thermostat has a battery, replace the battery. Make sure you have the batteries in the correct way.
6. If your furnace will not work after steps 1 - 5 are completed please call us at 218-759-1220

If you pushed snow off your roof, and your furnace vents out the side of your house please make sure you did not cover the vent over with snow.

If your furnace is not working properly
1. Make sure your thermostat is in heating mode
2. Make sure the breaker for your furnace is turned on
3. Check your furnace filter
4. Check the PVC venting from your gas furnace (intake and exhaust to make sure it is not iced over)
5. Check your propane tank to see how much propane you have.
6. If your thermostat has a battery, replace the battery
7. If none of the above takes care of the issue, give us a call 218-759-1220
