I could go on and on about my experience with Central Oregon forestry after becoming a certified arborist I would be willing to bet that I love our Forrest more than anybody else I’ve ever met being born and raised here. I have a true investment in our community. I can’t tell you how important it is to getting back in the forest and logging the forest again thinning them like these projects are asking for. You need to harvest the carbon from the forest for the forest to stay a carbon sink and reverse global warming. Loggers are just carbon harvesters, trying to turn global warming into global housing. The U.S. Forest Service is set to take bids for two of the logging projects at issue within the month.

Crew Leader/ISA Certified Arborist

We are seeking to fill a full-time position with a career-oriented arborist to grow with or successful company. We’re looking for an individual with strong arboricultural knowledge and skills, and/or the desire to learn. Perform estimates for tree removal, pruning, evaluation or consultation based on customer needs. Evaluate health of tree and make recommendations to customers or provide written assessment as required. Supervise tree pruning and removals. Individual must have a minimum of 3 years’ verifiable experience in the tree service industry. Must have a valid driver’s license Salary based on experience.

*Ensure that each client has an excellent experience and that all services are performed above and beyond industry standards.
*Care for and maintain equipment
*Ensure accurate billing
*Ensure safety on a job site.
*Delegating work orders to team members.
*Coordinating service calls, customer interactions, and if necessary third party sub-contractors as required.
Required Skills & Abilities:

*Valid driver’s license
*Strength to be able to lift 50 lbs. over your head, and ability to work outdoors year round. Frequent standing, squatting, walking, properly loading and unloading company vehicles, job site set-up and clean-up, and performing other similar actions during the course of the workday.
*Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate
*Excellent communication and client service skills
*Ability to obtain or have an ISA Certification

Tree Climbers/Grounds workers:
FCO Inc./Fagen Trees & Chips-Bend Oregon

Tree climbers, bucket truck operators and ground personnel. A Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience required. Must have a clean driver’s license, CDL a plus. We provide high-quality tree care for commercial and residential clients. Duties will include Hauling brush and wood from the tree to the truck, assisting the tree climber, operating company vehicles, hand tools and equipment and cleaning the job site.

*Have a mastery of proper climbing and Pruning Techniques
*Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chip truck and chippers.
*Performing all aspects of tree care services including, tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding.
*Utilizing all required personal protective equipment.
*Drive trucks and trailers to job site.
*prepare equipment on a daily basis to be as productive as possible onsite including fueling, cleaning, greasing and performing preventative maintenance in a regular proactive manner.

Job Type: Full-time
