Franklin Brothers is the culmination of a lifetime invested in the construction, development and real estate business in Central Oregon. Darrin Kelleher learned the business from the ground up starting at a very young age. Don and Freddie Kelleher, Darrin’s parents, have 50 years of combined experience as real estate brokers. He then spent 20 years in the equipment rental business and supplying material to contractors. When the time was right he began developing land in Central Oregon. During a 4 year span he developed over 800 lots prior to the real estate market collapse. In survival mode, Darrin decided to pursue the family business and obtain his real estate license. He used this tool along with his prior experience to negotiate many win/win situations. He put investors together with landowners and bankers and was able to minimize losses for both sides as much as possible. Along with Angie Mombert, he put together The Kelleher Group at Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate and began to build a team capable of handling the diverse needs of his growing clientele. It was a natural progression with a great group of investors that brought about the need for Franklin Brothers, LLC. Long Term Bend, LLC purchased many of the subdivisions that had fallen on hard times. Together with Lands Bend Corp their vision was to breathe new life into these neighborhoods and make the vision come full circle. They called upon Darrin and Angie to put together a company to build quality homes at an affordable price in their various projects. Darrin’s past experience combined with Angie’s eye for design and organization has proven to be a winning combination. Franklin Brothers is looking forward to keeping pace with the now energized real estate market, continuing to place families in a quality affordable home.
