Beyond ensuring project success, true collaboration builds team spirit and trust and helps to create relationships that last beyond the current project and onto the next, and the one after that. Big thanks to Matt Carter for not only making time to collaborate on this project, but also for sharing your expertise and passion with our team.

Alan Ash is one of the most genuine human beings I’ve ever met, and a wonderful stone mason to boot. We go back to my early Oregon days and long conversations about walling and the East Coast. He’s always been a kind soul and was generous with me in my younger days finding my footing as a stone guy. If you can help in any way, I can assure you he’d appreciate you in perpetuity. And if I can convince him to move to Maine, maybe I’ll put him on a job or two! 😳

Walling (and no -walling) friends, if you haven’t already, please help spread this along. Link to help below:

Here's a shot of my Home and Garden Show piece for this year. I was hoping to have last year's water feature as a back-drop for this "spiral-gate", but it fell over en route to the fairgrounds. With more time and a better stone selection I know this could be bigger and better, but I'm really happy with the end result. At the end of the day, it's simply fun to build something I haven't yet had the opportunity to do for a client...
