We’re honored to be making the trip to Salem tomorrow to accept the Operator of the Year award from the Oregon Department of Forestry. This recognition means a great deal to us—it reflects the detailed planning behind every job and the hard work and pride our entire team brings to the woods each day.
We’re truly blessed with an incredible crew, and this award is a testament to the dedication and professionalism they show in every aspect of the work. Thank you, ODF, for this honor!
One of the three forest Operators of the Year being honored tomorrow by the Oregon Board of Forestry is Boulder Ridge, LLC. Based in Bend, the company was honored for its work improving the health of a ponderosa pine forest on the east slopes of the Cascades. The company thinned out overcrowded trees, reducing drought stress and risk of catastrophic wildfire, as well as culling trees infested with dwarf mistletoe to reduce the spread of that parasitic plant.
