Sanitation plays an integral role in pest management. It's not just about control treatments, but a holistic approach that starts with maintaining a clean environment. In Suterra's recent blog article about insect control in food processing facilities, Jerry Heaps, J&J Food Safety president, recommends food processors follow these three steps:
1. Be aware of spillage on pallets and pallet racking.
