Here at Midwest Walls & Landscape, we build our team on honesty and transparency- and it is time that we be a little honest with you. Over the course of the last couple months our computer system has been compromised. We have had both work and personal emails hacked, sending many of you emails with a contained virus, unbeknown to us until it was too late to stop. This most recently happened this past holiday weekend. During this time, our office was also without power, or internet. It was during the efforts to fix these issues, with the help of a wonderful IT company, that we discovered malicious software had corrupted our system. We spent a lot of yesterday's time not only restoring our internet, but taking the time to dive deep into our systems and clean out anything that did not belong. We will be spending more time today ensuring that all of our customer information is safe, and our systems are clear from more corruption.
We want to ensure that you as our customers understand that we all at MWL extend our deepest apologies for any inconvenience, or uncertainty that any of this has caused you. Please know we are truly doing everything we can to prevent this from happening further, and ask that if you have any concerns or questions to reach out and let us assist in alleviating the issue together.
