Old vs new, 11 years difference, 88k vs 159 miles. I thought my Platinum was sweet, this Lariat Ultimate wins hands down. Of course it's early to judge, but.....for now, the features are amazing.
Miss my old Tonka? Sure I do, is/was a great truck. I asked a lot from that truck and never let me down. Of course, preventive maintenance is key to longevity, along with other things. Tonka worked hard for me and helped me with the "funds, lol" to upgrade to the new one, along with other pieces of equipment through the years.
We added a used PJ 20ft landscape trailer to the fleet for smaller loads, we have additional lighting, drop gate assist, power tongue, additional D-rings. We also have the winches on both the 20ft landscape and 25 ft dovetail equipment trailer for non running items as well.
So yesterday, like Tonka, who seemed to like picking up tractors as well, now the new guy had its first job. Picked this tractor up and will be dropping off at the dealership for service work. We convey to the dealership what is to be performed, get a cost estimate and suggestions and relay back to the owner. This takes the stress out the owners life letting someone else deal with it. And when completed, we will deliver back to the owner.
So, what do I name the new guy? Has a 7.3 Godzilla motor. Maybe Godzilla?
Can I call it Tonka II?
Suggestions?How original,right?
