EDA's Masonry crews are currently installing a CMU retaining wall as work continues on the new store. Later in the project, our Architectural Glass and Metal division will take the field to complete the glass systems on site.

A lot has changed since the days of the traditional hard hat.

While older hard hats were designed primarily to protect against falling objects, today's safety helmets provide enhanced protection from impacts to the front, sides, and rear of the head. A look at ongoing work at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia for this week’s !
This multi-scope project brought together EDA's carpenters, masons, and roofers to deliver a wide range of exterior envelope systems across multiple structures throughout the site.

Work included architectural metal panels, ACM systems, stone veneer, cast stone, roofing assemblies, edge metal, specialty canopies, and supporting sub framing systems, all coordinated to support the facility's continued growth and enhancement.

Projects like this showcase the value of having multiple trades work together under one roof to streamline communication, improve coordination, and deliver a cohesive finished product!

In honor of National Bike Month, we're sharing one of the more unexpected stories in EDA history.

Several years ago, we discovered an international cycling team competing under the name "EDA Contractors" and wearing jerseys featuring our old logo.

Most people would assume the story ended with lawyers. Instead, it started with a conversation.

After reaching out, we learned that the team's founder happened to have the initials EDA, and a graphic designer found our logo online when creating their uniforms.

What could have become a conflict turned into a positive connection built on curiosity and understanding.
Sometimes the best stories aren't about construction at all. They're about people.
