‼️BIG CHANGES TO THE FORECAST POSSIBLE FOR THURSDAY (5/28)‼️ New data coming in this evening shows a weak disturbance moving in off the Gulf overnight and pushing into the ArkLaTex on Thursday. IF this happens, rain would be much more widespread throughout the day and temperatures could end up significantly cooler. Keep in mind, earlier models were not showing this at all so there is still a lot of uncertainty in tomorrow’s forecast. I would prepare for another rainy morning commute tomorrow just in case.

Good to see! Above average precipitation is likely in Texas in the medium range 6-10 day outlook! While it may be accompanied by severe weather at times, it is good to see the pattern put up a fight against the drought and fire danger.
