Inspection Services, Inc. (ISI) is home to a team of professional engineers, multi-certified certified special inspectors, laboratory technicians, and experienced office support staff. We provide comprehensive QA/QC, special inspection and materials testing for projects of all sizes and stages. ISI offers a full range of special inspection and materials testing services and is committed to ensuring public safety and meeting clients' quality control requirements.

Role Description
The Inspector will perform daily tasks including conducting QA/QC, inspections and testing. Duties also involve preparing detailed reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with the project team to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

We currently have several openings for Special Inspectors with the following experience/certifications:
- ICC Certified Reinforced Concrete/Prestressed Concrete/Masonry Special Inspector
- ACI Certified
- Experienced Soils and Asphalt Compaction
- AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI), with UT/MT experience a plus

ISI is a signatory to the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, holidays, retirement plan, medical insurance and competitive wages. ISI is dedicated to training and promoting continuing education for our Inspectors and would like to hire individuals who are motivated and willing to grow in this field.

It's great seeing our Special Inspector, Todd Shebesta (bottom left) on this months Operating Engineers Local No. 3 Engineers News! Todd is currently on the Stabilize Alcatraz Wharf project which will make critical repairs to and seismically strengthen the concrete wharf on Alcatraz Island.

Thursday marked the topping out of Mission Rock Parcel F, the fourth of four buildings at Mission Rock Vertical Phase 1 (along with Parcels A, B, and G as pictured from the roof deck of F). Congrats to the entire Mission Rock Team for this impressive accomplishment through extraordinary times!

Structural work remains to be done, but ISI is extremely proud of its continued partnership with Tishman Speyer and the Mission Rock Partners in delivering high-quality commercial and residential spaces to the SOMA/Mission Bay neighborhoods.

Special shout-out to each of the terrific ISI and MGI inspectors who’ve carefully kept their eyes (and tape-measures) on the project since late-2020, led by resident inspectors Dickson Sum, Todd Shebesta, Jessie Amos and Mahmoud Jani. Way to go guys!”
