13 years ago, the Fulton County Expositor captured Nick Kessler Construction hard at work on the storage building at Sara’s Garden’s hyperbaric clinic in Wauseon.

Looking back at this photo brings back memories of the projects—and people—that have been part of our story. We’re proud to have worked at a place that means so much to so many families. ❤️

🥶 PSA, OHIO AND MICHIGAN: Get your home ready before the first freeze!

A quick reminder from Nick Kessler Construction—a little preparation now can help prevent expensive repairs later:

💧 Disconnect ALL exterior hoses, including those on frost-free faucets. Drain hoses and store them for winter.

🚰 Winterize outdoor water lines. Shut off and drain exterior faucets where an interior shutoff is provided, and have irrigation systems winterized.

🍂 Clear gutters and downspouts so rain and melting snow can drain away from your home.

🏠 Check weatherstripping and exterior gaps around doors, windows, and pipe openings to keep cold drafts out.

🔥 Get your heating system ready. Replace the filter, test your heat, and schedule service if needed.

🔋 Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, especially before heating season gets underway.

Save this checklist and share it with a neighbor! And consider this your reminder to disconnect that hose you’re “going to get to later.” 😉❄️
