RSR has more than 30 years experience building luxurious barns and outbuildings.

Pictured here on a beautiful rolling estate in Harding, NJ, is a custom barn designed and built to allow the groom to live next to the horses.

Our talented craftsmen started with framing and then completed the entire exterior veneer including the cedar clapboard siding , exterior trim and cedar shake handsplit roof installation.

Once the entire exterior was completed, we hand built 16-foot radius top custom barn entry doors along with Dutch doors on site, allowing the horses to have outside views. We then installed true divided light windows and French doors in the living space.

Our carpenters installed all the fully custom horse stalls and finishes throughout the interior of the barn and hand built custom paneling and cabinetry.

The stunning details include a full masonry fireplace and floor throughout the entire barn.
Brick for the chimney and the cobblestone for the floors were brought in from England. The materials came from one of the streets that the homeowner walked on as a child.

To finalize the project, our painting team stained the siding, sealed the hand splits and finally applied a gorgeous, long-lasting oil finish on all trim and doors!

RSR Home Construction was commissioned by the architect to consult on this complex home renovation in Chatham. We had to design and construct a roof while also meeting the town’s height restrictions.

This was a complete tear down with one wall still standing to keep the structure under renovation status and avoid any variances.

This Mendham bathroom renovation, led by our in-house craftsmen, including tile and stone installers, incorporated unique selections, bringing together Versace glass paneled tile, along with our glass beveled edge subway tile, and the ornate porcelain tile floor, The Ruby red quartz countertops were installed on our hand-crafted radius front vanity and more.

This stunning renovation allowed our design build team to reimagine the possibilities of this Short Hills home.

Our in-house craftsmen with more than 30 years of experience worked together on the framing before tackling the complete exterior veneer package, including roofing, siding, windows and exterior trim. From there, our team advanced to the interior finishes, including all of the cabinetry and interior mill work.

The result? A complex conversion of a split-level into a shingle style home featuring an elegant gambrel roof that creates more living space on the top level.
