Cracks like this are often the first sign something deeper is going on.

This is one of our ongoing projects in Berthoud, where we were called out to perform a foundation inspection after noticeable interior cracking appeared along the ceiling and wall transitions. While it may look like a simple drywall issue, patterns like this can point to underlying settlement.

Our goal is to get a clear understanding of what’s causing the movement and determine the right path forward whether that’s monitoring, foundation repair, or full stabilization.
Catching these signs early can make a big difference in preventing more serious structural concerns down the road.

If you’re seeing similar cracks in your home, it’s worth having it looked at.

A solid driveway starts with the right foundation.

This is one of our ongoing projects in Colorado Springs, where we’re installing a new concrete driveway built for long-term performance. From proper base preparation to precise forming and finishing, every step matters when it comes to durability.

Driveways take a lot of daily wear, and without the right groundwork, issues like cracking and settlement can show up fast. That’s why we focus on doing it right from the start.
This project is coming together nicely, and it’s going to be a clean, durable addition to the home.

If you’re thinking about upgrading your driveway, we’d be happy to take a look.

Every solid project starts with a thorough inspection.

This is one of our ongoing projects out in Broomfield, where our team is performing a full foundation inspection to get a clear picture of what’s happening beneath the surface. We can use this Zip Level to tell you how raised to lowered your foundation may be. Small signs like cracks or uneven settling can point to larger structural concerns if left unchecked.

By catching these issues early, we’re able to guide homeowners toward the right solution whether that’s foundation repair, helical piers, or long-term stabilization.
It’s not just about identifying problems it’s about making sure the structure is safe, stable, and built to last.

If you’ve noticed changes in your home, it might be time to take a closer look.

We’re finishing up a helical pier installation here in Berthoud to correct foundation settlement and restore stability to the home. Each pier was advanced to load-bearing soil to ensure long-term support beneath the structure something that’s critical with the shifting soils we see across the Front Range.
If you’re starting to notice cracks, uneven floors, or signs of movement, it’s worth getting ahead of it early.

Stamped and Dyed Concrete Slab in Colorado Springs, Colorado

We recently completed a poured concrete slab at this Colorado Springs property, finished with stamped and dyed detailing to enhance both durability and visual appeal. Proper site preparation and reinforcement were key to ensuring long-term performance and resistance to cracking or settlement. The stamped and dyed finish adds a clean, decorative look while maintaining the strength of traditional concrete work. This project provides a solid, low-maintenance surface designed to hold up well in Colorado’s changing climate.

Meet the Partners Behind Fort August Foundation

Fort August Foundation didn’t start as a business idea it started out of frustration.

David and Favian have both been on the homeowner side of foundation problems dealing with major repairs, confusing options, and the stress that comes with it. Along the way, they kept running into the same issues: high costs, rigid solutions, and being left to figure everything out on their own.

They knew there had to be a better way.
So they built one.

Fort August Foundation was created around a simple idea:
Treat people the way we would want to be treated.

That means fair pricing, honest solutions, and handling the entire project from start to finish so homeowners don’t have to juggle multiple contractors or guess what comes next.

And we don’t just repair foundations we improve homes. While most companies fix the problem and leave the aftermath behind, we take it a step further. From structural repairs to clean, finished interiors and upgraded outdoor spaces, our goal is simple:

Leave every home better than we found it.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about fixing a foundation it’s about taking care of people and their homes the right way.
