This week, our team responded to a commercial property after a water fountain overflow on the 3rd floor caused extensive damage to multiple levels below, including falling ceiling tiles, standing water, saturated carpets, wet drywall, and damaged cabinetry.

Our team responded quickly to stabilize the affected areas by extracting water, removing compromised ceiling tiles, and placing professional drying equipment throughout the building. Once this was done, our team made frequent visits back to monitor moisture levels in order to ensure all affected areas were drying thoroughly and to industry standard.

Through fast action and effective mitigation, we were able to fully dry the affected areas and restore the property to operable condition.

When water damage strikes, Brookstone Restoration is ready to respond.

When a condensation drain became disconnected in a mechanical closet, water quickly spread into two weight rooms and the surrounding area of this high school. 🏫

Fortunately, our team responded fast to begin water extraction and set up professional drying equipment to prevent further damage and get the facility back up and running as quickly as possible!

Our crew carefully moved all weightlifting equipment, used 2x4 spacers beneath the mats to allow proper airflow and effective drying without creating a moisture barrier, and set professional-grade structural drying equipment to ensure all affected areas were effectively dried.

Fast response and proper mitigation techniques make all the difference when it comes to water damage restoration.💧

This week, our team responded to a commercial property after water from an upper area leaked into a pharmacy storage room, creating concerns about moisture damage and protecting nearby materials.

After arriving on site, our crew quickly assessed conditions, documented affected areas, and worked directly with property maintenance to develop a clear response plan before moving forward with mitigation efforts.

Once approved, crews began targeted cleaning, moisture control, and dehumidification to stabilize the space and help prevent further damage. Throughout the process, our team closely monitored moisture levels to ensure affected materials were drying properly and the environment remained under control.

As drying conditions improved, our team continued monitoring the affected areas until all materials reached proper dry standards and equipment was safely removed from the property.

Projects like this highlight how fast action and proper moisture management can help minimize disruption and prevent a small water issue from becoming a much larger problem.

Everyone has a Brookstone story — here’s Cody’s.

As Senior Crew Chief, Cody Mealer says mitigation is about more than equipment and demo — it’s about showing people they’re taken care of during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Over the last 4.5 years, Cody has worked his way up from mover/packer to Senior Crew Chief. He says the most important part of the job is building trust with homeowners and making sure they feel heard throughout the restoration process.

For Cody, Brookstone means family — a team that pushes each other to be their best both personally and professionally.

This week, Brookstone responded to a local high school after a boiler malfunction caused water damage in the third-floor boiler room and the weight room directly below it.

Our team arrived quickly to assess the affected areas, begin water extraction, and stabilize the loss to help prevent further damage. After inspecting the weight room, crews discovered water had spread beneath multiple layers of rubber flooring, trapping moisture beneath the surface.

To properly dry the area and prevent long-term damage, sections of the affected flooring needed to be removed so crews could access the moisture underneath and begin the drying process. Drying equipment was strategically placed throughout the impacted spaces while moisture levels were carefully monitored.

As preparations continued, Brookstone coordinated with school staff to safely move weight equipment out of the room and create access for the next phase of mitigation. Throughout the project, our team worked closely with facility leadership to help keep recovery moving efficiently and minimize disruption for students and staff.

When emergencies impact schools and community facilities, fast response and clear communication are critical to getting spaces back up and running as quickly as possible.

Brookstone is ready 24/7 when emergencies happen.

At 6:30 AM, our team was called to respond to a reported first-floor flood at a multi-family property. After arriving on site and completing a full inspection, crews quickly identified widespread affected areas and immediately began water extraction efforts to stabilize the property and prevent further damage.

With an occupied environment and active residents on site, our team worked quickly and strategically to keep disruption to a minimum while still moving the project forward safely and efficiently.

Throughout the process, Brookstone worked closely with both on-site property management and upper management to clearly communicate affected areas, outline mitigation plans, and coordinate next steps in real time. That collaboration allowed crews to move quickly once approvals were in place.

Containment barriers were installed throughout affected areas while crews carefully removed damaged materials and treated impacted framing with antimicrobial products. Drying equipment was closely monitored throughout the project to ensure affected areas dried properly and the property could move into repairs as quickly as possible.

Large multi-family losses require more than just equipment and demolition — they require communication, coordination, and a team prepared to adapt quickly as conditions change.

Brookstone is ready 24/7 when emergencies happen.

A water supply line leak on the 3rd floor of a higher education facility went unnoticed over a holiday weekend — impacting multiple floors all the way down to the basement.

By early Monday morning, offices, cubicles, and an auditorium space had all been affected.

Because of our existing relationship, our team was called immediately and got to work.

We began water extraction, removed damaged materials, and created a plan to safely dry the building — all while coordinating across multiple floors.

But jobs like this aren’t just about drying.
They’re about coordination.

From the start, our team worked side-by-side with campus facilities leadership — walking the building, aligning on next steps, and making real-time decisions together.

Fast response. Clear communication. Coordinated ex*****on.

That’s the Brookstone standard.
We’re here 24/7 when it matters most.
