Potomac Construction was excited to support CREW Maryland Suburban’s Hampden House Construction Tour yesterday!

Located in downtown Bethesda, this 25-story, mixed-use development features Art Deco-inspired architecture, 366 residential units, ground-floor retail, and an impressive collection of resident amenities. The tour also highlighted the project's unique construction challenges, including tight site constraints and the complexities of building alongside the Purple Line.

Thank you to Saul Centers for leading an insightful tour and to CREW Maryland for organizing such a great event! The afternoon wrapped up with a happy hour at The Food Market, a restaurant Potomac had the pleasure of building.

Potomac Construction was proud to support another incredible year of Chefs For Equality! This year's event, themed "United Plates of America," brought together some of the region's most talented chefs for an unforgettable evening celebrating great food and an even greater cause.

Our team enjoyed a fantastic dining experience at Centrolina, featuring dishes prepared by Amy Brandwein and Pichet Ong of Centrolina, Tatiana Mora of MITA, Seng Luangrath of Thip Khao/Padaek, Manuela Carbone of Brasero Atlántico, Jamie Leeds of Hank's Oyster Bar, Kat Petinito of The Duck & The Peach, Johanna Hellrigl of Ama, Claire King of Caviar Concierge, and Julie Cortes of Kayu/Morena.

A special thank you to the Human Rights Campaign for organizing another memorable event and bringing the culinary community together in support of equality. We're grateful to be part of such a meaningful evening!

Last week, our team member, Andrew Hubert, attended the 2026 Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Metro Washington Strategic Planning Retreat!

The two-day retreat brought together board members, committee chairs, Leadership Development Program students, staff, and other member leaders for collaboration, fresh ideas, and strategic planning. Together, attendees discussed ways to strengthen the association and continue providing valuable resources and support to its members.

A special thank you to incoming 2027 Board Chair Mike Hurley, and to Chad Prinkey for facilitating the retreat.

We're proud to have Andrew represent Potomac Construction and contribute to conversations that will help shape the future of ABC of Metro Washington and our industry!

We're officially old enough to raise a glass! 🥂 Today, Potomac Construction celebrates 21 years of building incredible spaces, lasting relationships, and an amazing team.

To mark the occasion, we came together to celebrate 21 years of success, recognize the incredible accomplishments of our team members, and look ahead to a bright future. The day was filled with exciting company updates, valuable training sessions, and, of course, a toast to 21 years!

Over the past 21 years, we've had the privilege of working alongside incredible people who have helped shape Potomac into the company it is today. Today is World Mental Health Day. 💚

Mental health is an important conversation in every industry, but especially in construction, where the challenges often go unspoken. Fewer than 5% of construction workers report seeing a mental health professional, highlighting the need to break down barriers and encourage open conversations.

At Potomac Construction, we believe that building a strong team means supporting one another both on and off the jobsite. Let's work toward a construction industry where asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Revisiting Bar Betsie, a standout bar in DC's Union Market District.

From a dramatic neon red curtain and red velvet-covered swooping booths to a theatrical marquee and mirrored accents, Bar Betsie was designed with plenty of personality.

And it looks like the space has earned some celebrity approval — singer and style icon Charli XCX stopped by the bar after her DC concert last week! We love seeing a space we helped bring to life continue to make its mark in DC.

Throwing it back to Rose’s Luxury, which is celebrating 13 years in DC!

Potomac Construction had the pleasure of working with Aaron Silverman to bring his first brick-and-mortar restaurant to life in a historic two-story building on Capitol Hill. The project transformed the space to include the restaurant’s kitchens and dining areas, custom bar millwork, and the second-floor rooftop garden and private dining space.

It’s been incredible to watch Rose’s Luxury grow into such a celebrated part of DC’s dining scene over the past 13 years. Happy anniversary to the entire Rose’s Luxury team!
