Congratulations to Danielle Rice on her promotion to Vice President of Human Resources!

Danielle has been a driving force behind our people-centered culture, from attracting and developing top talent to strengthening engagement, policies, and compliance.

Since joining Donohoe in 2018, Danielle has been a trusted advisor who guided the company through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, supported significant organizational expansion, helped to launch Employee Resource Groups to foster connection, partnered with Lyra to expand employee well-being resources, and introduced 10KC to provide new opportunities for mentorship, networking, and professional growth across the organization.

Danielle has said that she dedicated her career to being a “resource to humans.” Inspired by an early internship through the DC Summer Youth Employment Program that introduced her to helping others navigate challenges, she has spent more than 25 years as an HR leader, building workplaces where people feel supported and connected.

We look forward to her continued leadership as she helps shape the future of Donohoe and our employees.

What a day!

This past weekend, more than 1,500 employees, family members, and friends came together at Smokey Glen Farm Barbequers for the Donohoe Annual Family Cookout. With beautiful weather, great food, exciting door prizes, and activities for all ages, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people who make and recognize 127 team members celebrating milestone anniversaries, representing 5 to 45 years of service.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's cookout such a memorable success. We're already looking forward to next year!

Fighting food insecurity takes community, partnership, and action.

This year, Donohoe is proud to support Manna Food Center in advancing its mission to provide Food for All in Montgomery County, Maryland, and beyond.

As part of that commitment, our team recently spent two hours packing 240 food boxes for neighbors experiencing food insecurity—an astonishing 34% of the county's population.
