Laundry room renovation. 🙂

This new floor plan allows more working space and storage. Key features on this project were first and foremost the relocation of the washer and dryer. New cabinetry including a designer stainless steel utility sink were installed and an exhaust fan to expell the heat and humidity during drying cycles. And finally the new pocket door install which much to my surprise ended up being in a load bearing wall. But we took care of that. 👌🏼

Our new clients are absolutely in love with their new space! 😍

Well that was fun! Fun color too!

With limited space in this small master bath and limited time with a March 1st deadline we opted for the corner shower stall kit.
I have to admit I started this job a skeptic on the functionality of these small showers but I gotta say after it was all said and done with, they are very nice and plenty of room to shower. Most importantly we made our deadline and our client absolutely loves it. 🎯

On to the next one.. 🙂

New attic insulation!

With "rising heat" costs these homeowners wanted to ensure their heat was staying in their home. They weren't too fond of the old attic smell either.
With a long history of roof leaks, mice, squirrels, and the unknown from previous owners we decided to just remove all the old insulation and give the attic a cleaning. Doing this we were able to remove all the old collapsing foam rafter baffles and replace with modern structural baffles for proper venting. Some bathroom fan exhausts were then properly run to functioning soffit vents and a ton of random loose wires fastened found strung through the old insulation.
The end result was peace of mind for the homeowner. A fresh layer of 18" R60 cellulose insulation in a clean attic. Any issues found repaired and that old smelly itchy insulation gone. 👌🏼

Throwback to a previous bathroom job. Definitely one of my favorites.
My clients are listing the home so we freshened it up with some new paint, sealants, and tile sealer.
All ready for the new owner. ❤️

It seemed relevant with the weather today to post our most recent basement french drain and sump pump system. ⛈️

For those that don't know, for 20 years prior to starting my general contracting business I installed these guaranteed systems daily.

Still to this day I get calls of thanks for a dry basement many many years later. I recently ran into a prior customer in a store who lost my contact information. He followed me to the truck for a couple business cards for his neighbors whose basements flood regularly. His no longer does.

You can rest assured that we put the same attention to detail we're known for in our basement systems. 💪🏼🙂
