We finished waterproofing and encapsulation of a crawl space in Davenport today. Our customer had mold growth in the home, had a mold mediation company out to ride the house of mold, to the point that she couldn’t live in the house, we sealed up the open dirt crawl space to keep moisture to a minimum. As soon as we sealed the crawl space, the difference was noticeable in the air that the environment was better.

Today we fixed a foundation crack that had been leaking water, and the customer also wanted a new sump pump and 12vdc backup sump pump as well. Besides fixing the crack, which has a lifetime warranty, we installed a 3/4 HP stainless steel commercial sump pump with a 10 year warranty and the 12vdc backup pump is covered for 5 years; our back up pump has more capacity then their previous main pump!

We wrapped up this basement waterproofing job today with loads of mold and mildew. All the damaged drywall and framing has been removed and all waterproofed! We will start the wall rebuilding next week with new framing, drywall and baseboard.

Last week we waterproofed this house in Rock Island. Today we added foundation support beams to straighten the basement wall. The homeowner was happy to see a dry basement through the rain today after experiencing rivers of water across their basement floor in the past.
