Hybrid/Heat-Pump water heater set in a pan and piped via indirect waste to a service sink 2 stories below that will be set at the finish, hot & cold potable water manifold wall. As part of rough of a large garage/ADU addition. All hots and colds to every fixture in the new space can be isolated. Main control ball-valves isolate the manifolds. ProPress, sweat copper, pex connections.

Outdoor shower.

Branch off hot & cold serving a pedestal lavatory to get the water pipe outside. All pipe pitched with multiple drain locations. Shower system secured with unions so the whole system - valve plus handheld plus rain head can be disconnected as an entire unit and brought inside. All sweat copper connections.

Original installation had the device too low to the garden bed. Replacement allowed for the backflow device to be well above the highest sprinkler head in the lawn, also including unions and draw-offs on both sides of the device, plus a ball-valve on the downstream side (ball-valve already existing on the house side, upstream), and good support of the system.

Shower. In the rough. As part of an attic renovation/addition. Set the pan in mortar and built the valve center on the pan. Secondary diverter allows for simultaneous function of the head and handheld. Pipe size on the hot and cold full 3/4” as close to the valve as possible, so as to eliminate volume/pressure drops especially when in simultaneous function of the two heads, important considering this bath is set in what is now the 3rd flr of the house and pressure loss will be a factor.
